OPPO Unveils Reno16 Series with Trend-Setting 3D Pop Planet Design and Creative Photography

SHENZHEN-OPPO today introduced the Reno16 Series, including the Reno16, Reno16 Pro and Reno16 F. Combining the distinctive 3D Pop Planet Design¹ with a suite of AI-powered imaging and creativity features, every device in the series is built to make capturing, editing and sharing content more intuitive and expressive. From tools like AI Remix Collage and Pop Cam to personalized AI experiences powered by ColorOS 16, the Reno16 Series brings a fresh and effortless approach to mobile creativity.

A Distinctive 3D Pop Planet Design

Every Reno generation introduces a new design identity, and the Reno16 Series continues that evolution with its own bold and distinctive look.

The Pop White edition gives play to an industry-first HoloVerse 3D Technology², creating a floating, nebula-inspired visual effect that shifts with light and movement. Enabled by millions of micro-lenses that reconstruct light in space, the 3D design creates a sense of depth in imagery that appears to hover over the surface of the phone. It gives Reno16 Series a striking visual signature while maintaining a refined, premium finish.

Across the series, the one-piece cold-sculpted back cover³ flows seamlessly into the camera module for a clean, uninterrupted appearance. The integrated design is smooth to the touch and helps reduce dust buildup around the camera area.

Reno16 and Reno16 Pro feature a compact 6.32-inch display designed for comfortable one-handed use, complemented by an aerospace-grade aluminum frame that provides a cool, reassuring grip. Reno16 F offers a larger 6.57-inch screen for an even more expansive viewing experience.

Creative Imaging for Visual Storytelling

The Reno16 Series was designed with creators in mind to make both capturing and editing content more intuitive, expressive and fun.

To start with, its 50MP Ultra Wide Selfie Camera with a 100-degree field of view makes it easier to fit more people into group selfies while enabling more dynamic perspectives.

On the rear, all three models feature a triple-camera system featuring a high-resolution main camera with OIS, a Telephoto Portrait Camera with approximately 3.5x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide camera for greater framing flexibility. Reno16 Pro further elevates image clarity with a 200MP Ultra Clear Main Camera, allowing users to crop and reframe shots while preserving rich detail.

New to the Reno Series, Pop Cam introduces a dedicated creative shooting experience directly within the Camera app. This feature lets the user apply vintage-inspired styles such as Digicam, Instant Film and Light Leak effects with a single tap, making it easy to create distinctive photos with different moods and aesthetics.

Beyond shooting, the Reno16 Series also expands creative editing capabilities through a new Create hub within the Photos app, bringing together a range of AI-powered tools designed for more playful and personalized storytelling. AI Remix Collage allows users to combine multiple photos or short videos into layered visual compositions with animated stickers, outlines and text, and it even lets the user extract moving subjects from Motion Photos or videos and use them as stickers. For the first time on a Reno Series device, the new AI Snap Key provides quick access to AI Mind Space. With just a simple press, it allows users to instantly capture and organize on-screen content. Designed as a personalized information hub, AI Mind Space helps users easily store important details, revisit saved content and manage everyday information more efficiently. Within that, AI Bill Manager can automatically recognize and organize digital payments and physical receipts into clear spending records and insights.

The Reno16 Series also introduces AI Mind Pilot, which intelligently coordinates multiple AI models to deliver more relevant and context-aware assistance. By securely drawing from information saved within AI Mind Space, AI Mind Pilot can recommend the most suitable AI model for different tasks or allow users to compare responses side by side for greater flexibility and control.

When traveling, AI Menu Translation makes overseas dining experiences a breeze by generating visual explanations of foreign dishes beyond simple text translation, making it easier for users to explore unfamiliar menus with greater confidence.

Alongside the Reno16 Series, OPPO is also introducing OPPO Bubble, a new magnetic companion device designed to extend creative expression beyond the smartphone itself⁶.

Weighing just 35 grams, OPPO Bubble attaches magnetically to compatible cases or magnetic rings and features a vibrant AMOLED display that functions as a real-time rear-camera monitor.
