That patent license agreement authorizes Verifone to integrate OPPO's cellular standard-essential patents to enhance user experiences for its point-of-sales payment devices.

This agreement underscores the accelerating adoption of OPPO's cellular standard-essential technologies beyond the smartphone sector, marking a significant expansion into commercial IoT and financial hardware environments.

As of March 2026, OPPO has filed over 122,000 patent applications and holds more than 67,000 granted patents globally.
