Pop-up to celebrate UEFA sponsorship and debut of new smartphone
London UK – 18 August 2022: Leading global smart device brand OPPO has scored its first brick and mortar shop in the UK, set to celebrate its recently announced UEFA sponsorship and debut the brand’s latest smartphone, due to arrive 1 September.
Taking place on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 September at Kachette on Old Street in Shoreditch, the pop-up shop will offer a hat-trick of events including the chance to be one of the first to try out and purchase the new device, attend football-themed workshops and talks with social media influencers and be immersed in interactive experiences.
Celebrating The Beautiful Game and sponsorship of UEFA Champions League, OPPO has also launched a ‘Lucky8’ competition which will see eight football-loving personalities, including TikTok star Formz, give eight winners the chance to win £1,000 worth of lastminute.com vouchers and a pair of tickets to a Champions League match in the UK this year.

The pop-up shop and experience is set to take place on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 September at Kachette on Old Street in Shoreditch, with workshops and talks happening 12pm-1pm and 3pm-4pm each day. Female footballer, model, designer and social media influencer Ocean Lewis will delving into the creativity process behind her most successful collaborations, while football freestyle and world-record holder John Farnworth will be coaching freestyling tricks and creating magical TikTok transitions.
