OPPO uncovers the ultimate artistic collaboration with new OPPO Find X2 Series

London, UK – 27th May 2020 – At an exclusive virtual launch event featuring a musical collaboration with Grammy-nominated R&B artist Nao, OPPO today announced the availability of its flagship OPPO Find X2 series in the UK—including the addition of two new handsets to the series, the OPPO Find X2 Neo and OPPO Find X2 Lite.

The online launch features a unique artistic collaboration between Nao and the Kaleidoscope Orchestra, a musical collective of young classically-trained musicians from Manchester and London who have taken on the challenge of reimagining one of Nao’s top hit songs, ‘Another Lifetime’ (originally from her 2018 album Saturn), and performing it jointly with Nao in a virtual orchestral ensemble.

The whole collaboration between the artists—from creative conception and planning to the performance, recording and editing of the remix—was captured and shared using the OPPO Find X2 Pro, with Nao and the Kaleidoscope members all collaborating remotely during lockdown. The result: A unique coming together of musical talent through technology, showing the innovative use of classical music concepts to remake Nao’s soulful hit as people have never heard it.
