OPPO named Manufacturer Field Marketing Team of the Year at Mobile Industry Awards 2022
OPPO ousts Samsung after four years of consecutive wins, showcasing brand’s growth and momentum in the UK
23 September 2022, LONDON: OPPO, a leading global smart device brand, has been named ‘Manufacturer Field Marketing Team of the Year’ at the year’s prestigious Mobile Industry Awards 2022. Beating off stiff competition from Samsung, which has held the title since 2016, the award cements OPPO’s quickly accelerating growth in the UK as it continues to aim to become the third largest mobile player in the market.
The ’Manufacturer Field Marketing Team of the Year’ category at the Mobile Industry Awards showcases the significant impact that field marketing teams have on the growth and success of the wider business, a result of educating contact centre retail and training high street staff.
Charleen Fang, Managing Director of OPPO UK and Ireland said:
“We are thrilled to be recognised by the Mobile Industry Awards for the commitment and hard work of our field marketing team. OPPO aims to be the easiest manufacturer to work with and support our operator and retail partners to achieve their goals. This mindset enables us to deliver best-in-class training and support, at both contact centres and stores. We are extremely proud of such recognition, as a small, but mighty team to achieve big results, and we’re looking forward to seeing more to come”.
At the Mobile Industry Awards, OPPO was shortlisted in the ‘Smartphone Manufacturer of the Year’ and ‘Phone of the Year’ category for the OPPO Find X5 Pro flagship smartphone.
OPPO continues to go from strength-to-strength in the UK. The manufacturer has logged 56% annual growth, outpacing others in the market, as revealed by analyst firm Canalys. Building on this momentum, OPPO recently revealed its latest smartphones, the OPPO Reno8 series, bringing exceptional low-light camera capabilities and long-lasting battery life to consumers in the UK, as well as new IoT products, including the company’s first-ever tablet, the OPPO Pad Air.
