Colours and storage options
The OPPO Reno16 5G is available in three colours: Starry White, Twilight Violet and Stellar Purple.
Both the 8GB + 256GB and the 12GB + 256GB configurations use LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage. The Reno16 5G does not support a storage card, so the internal storage cannot be expanded. USB OTG is supported.

Camera system
All four cameras on the OPPO Reno16 5G are 50MP, including the front camera. This is unusual at this price and is the main reason to choose the Reno16 5G over the Reno16c 5G.
The 50MP wide angle camera has an f/1.8 aperture, a 5P lens, autofocus and 2-axis optical image stabilisation. The 50MP ultra-wide angle camera has an f/2.0 aperture, a 6P lens and a 116° field of view. The 50MP telephoto camera has an f/2.8 aperture, a 4P lens, 2-axis optical image stabilisation and 3.5x optical zoom, extending to 18x digital zoom.
The 50MP front camera has an f/2.0 aperture, a 100° field of view and autofocus, which is not standard on front cameras in this segment.
Video recording runs to 4K at 60fps on both the rear and front cameras, with 4K HDR video and 4K electronic and optical stabilisation also at 60fps. Dual-view video shooting and professional video shooting are supported. Slow motion is available at 120fps in 1080P and 240fps in 720P.
