OPPO Wins Phone Manufacturer of the Year for Third Year in A Row
Leading global smartphone brand OPPO, announced today it has been recognised by technology comparison site WhistleOut as the Phone Manufacturer of the Year for 2021.
This is the third consecutive year in which OPPO has taken home this prestigious title. The WhistleOut Awards, now in their third year, recognise and celebrate the companies within the telecommunications market who have consistently provided Australians with the best products, services and plans across a range of categories. The category for phones was benchmarked by a team of editorial experts who looked at price, performance, battery, screen, camera, design and overall user experience to pick the best smartphones and manufacturers of 2021.
Speaking of OPPO’s win, Alex Choros, Managing Editor at WhistleOut said, “OPPO has gone from strength to strength and once again delivered a year's worth of strong devices across multiple price points.
“At the high-end, it has phones like the Find X3 Pro with unique innovations like the microscope lens. In more affordable categories, we've seen OPPO continue to offer bang-for-buck handsets while also pushing the price of 5G down to its lowest yet. And in the budget field, OPPO's delivered with reliable entry-level devices like the A53.”
Michael Tran, Managing Director at OPPO Australia, believes winning the award for three consecutive years is a testament to the company’s dedication to understanding consumer mindsets and fulfilling demands with desirable features at all price points.
“At OPPO, we’re immensely proud to be recognised for our disruptive innovation and brand value. As a business, we have focussed on everything from products, research and development through to after sales support, to ensure the best product and user experience for our customers. It’s great to see that these efforts are paying off.
“We’re thrilled to be delivering cutting-edge technologies across our entire range of smartphones, showcasing our capabilities of merging premium with affordability to Australian consumers. We expect this momentum to continue into the second half of 2021 and beyond, as we strive to break new grounds and deliver innovations that Aussies have come to expect from OPPO,” said Tran.
