  • OPPO reopens all brand stores in Singapore starting today

OPPO Singapore today announced that with the easing of circuit breaker restrictions, the smartphone brand will be reopening its brand stores around the island as of Friday, June 19 2020.

OPPO reopens all brand stores in Singapore starting today

OPPO Singapore had previously closed its stores from 7 April, in line with the government’s implementation of circuit breaker measures around essential businesses. During this time, it had maintained operation of the OPPO Service Centre in Suntec City to assist customers in need of urgent repair or servicing.

To serve consumers in the safest way possible and adhere to ongoing social distancing guidelines, a series of proactive in-store safety measures will be implemented within all stores.

All employees and shoppers will be required to take their temperature prior to entering the store, wear a mask at all times and maintain 1-metre safe distance between each other. The store will also implement the use of Singapore’s SafeEntry check-in system to facilitate contact tracing. The number of customers allowed in stores at any one time will differ from store to store, and information on the maximum number of customers allowed, and available slots will be reflected within the system. The team will also conduct a thorough disinfection of the stores twice a day, maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene standards for the safety of our staff and customers.

All customers and employees are reminded to always practise hygiene measures and follow the guidelines recommended by the healthcare authorities. Customers will also be given a one-time in-store complimentary phone sanitisation at all stores to disinfect their devices.

Despite the closures of all physical stores since April, OPPO has seen an increase in sales from its online channels such as the Shopee and Lazada OPPO Flagship stores.

At the same time, the brand has tapped into live streams to build and maintain relationships with Singaporeans. During this period, OPPO also worked with the Singapore Red Cross to donate masks to two organisations helping the handicapped and foreign migrant workers as part of its efforts to contribute to the fight against COVID-19.
