20 May, 2019, LONDON - OPPO, a Global Partner of the International Cricket Council (ICC), today announced its official ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 campaign featuring England vice-captain, Jos Buttler. The “Shot Maker” campaign was unveiled at a global marketing event where OPPO premiered its new brand video starring the England batsman.
The “Shot Maker” creative aims to communicate the OPPO spirit by celebrating the expression, innovation and individuality of cricket fans, on and off the pitch, across the world. The rollout reflects OPPO’s focus on implementing the "Glocal" strategy of brand internationalization and localization by using the power of cricket to deliver tailored Shot Maker messaging to markets around the world.
The Shot Maker campaign reveal came as OPPO announced the launch of its new Reno series in the UK market. This includes the Reno 5G, launched with EE.
OPPO integrates the spirit of cricket and the Shot Maker Campaign
As a longstanding ICC Global Partner, OPPO continues to demonstrate its commitment to cricket. In 2017, OPPO became the main partner of the India national cricket team, and later established partnerships with the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and the Melbourne Star, Australia. The Shot Maker Campaign, in conjunction with the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019, aims to continue and build upon OPPO’s previous collaborations in sports marketing to further establish its footprint as a global brand.

OPPO launches the latest Reno Series in the UK

The OPPO Reno handset retails at £499 and the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom, is priced at £699. Both devices will be available to pre-order with Carphone Warehouse from tomorrow (21st May) and will be on sale in store and online from 5th June for Reno and 12th June for Reno 10x Zoom.
