  • OPPO-Care Terms & Conditions


    Thank you for purchasing OPPO Care, please read through the terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you fully understand the contents, services and benefits provided by OPPO Care. Payment will be deemed your acceptance of our terms and conditions. OPPO Care is provided by MALAYSIA OPPO ELECTRONICS.

     

    1. OPPO Care Card service content

    A. OPPO Care service is only available with the purchase of new OPPO phone. The validity is 12 Months and effective from the date of purchase.

    B. After purchasing OPPO Care, registration using IMEI number is required.

    Due to unexpected fall, extrusion, collision or water damage that resulted in dysfunction, please report to our customer service (0322103448) within 24 hours, and proceed to customer service center within 72 hours and bring along the phone, receipt, certificate and OPPO Care Card. Customer will receive a free repair service if the OPPO Care is activated with the bounded corresponding IMEI number.

    C. Customer will enjoy free service if the repair costs incurred does not exceed 85% of the phone price. Customer will need to bear the price difference if the repair costs incurred exceed 85% of the phone price. OPPO Care service is terminated after the service is completed.

    D. All the faulty parts replaced belong to MALAYSIA OPPO ELECTRONICS.

    E. OPPO Care is not refundable or replaceable under any circumstances.

    F. In case that the phone register with OPPO Care had been replaced by a new one, OPPO Care will also be bound to the newly replaced phone IMEI. Date of effectiveness of OPPO Care service will also be reset to the date of the phone replacement.

    G. If OPPO Care is not redeemed within 12 months, customer can purchase the OPPO Care with next new OPPO phone under 75% of the original price.

    H. Every new phone is allowed to purchase one OPPO Care only.

     

     

    2. OPPO Care Card Service exclusion

    A. Damaged caused on purpose.

    B. Any action that causes phone lost. (Rob, oblivion and etc.)

    C. Abrasion, scratch, loss and other damages of accessories that does not affect phone basic functions, and the accessories may include but not limited to battery, headset, casing, memory card, chargers, cable, mouse, keyboard, e-pen and other damages.

    D. Virus or malicious software that caused the damaged of normal usage of phone or failure of the application.

    E. Damage or loss of non-basic phone functionality data, programs and application.

    F. Any indirect incidental losses that caused by phone faulty. (Including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of data, loss of working time and etc.)

    G. Barcode and IMEI label are obliterated, damaged or unrecognizable.

    H. Any personal disassembly or modification is made in the faulty injury or property losses that caused by phone faulty.

    I. Personal injury and property damage caused by the insured phone, including but not limited to the direct or indirect losses or costs.

    J. War, military action or terrorism, hostilities, riots

    K. Administrative action or judicial action

    L. Natural disaster, nuclear radiation or radioactive contamination.

    M. The OPPO Care Card service is only applicable in Malaysia.

     

    3. Terminology

    A.  “Phone” or Product”: Define as authorized OPPO Smart phone purchased via legal channels.

    B. “IMEI Number”: Define as International Phone identity.

    C. “Accidental damage”: Define as dysfunction to hardware caused by accidents.

    D. “Accident”: Define as unexpected or uncontrollable things happen. (Including but not limited: unexpected fall, extrusion, collision or water damage).

    E. “dysfunction to phone hardware”: Define as the hard ware of the phone cannot be used according to the instructions normally.

     

     *Customers who purchased OPPO F1 through Maxis will automatically be eligible for 12 months OPPO Care. No registration is required.


  • Why is the GPS not working?

    Please check the possible reason and troubleshooting steps below to solve your issue:

    1. The signal indoors is not strong enough for your current location, please walk around and find a place with better signal;

    2. The firmware is not working, please download the firmware from the official website.

  • What should I do if the touch screen is not working?

    Please check the possible reason and trouble shooting steps below to solve your issue:

    1. The phone is interfered with due to the static electricity caused by the friction, please gently press the power button to turn off the screen and turn it back on. In most cases this fault can be solved with this step;

    2. The phone screen is humid or wet, please wipe away the water on the phone screen to recover the screen-touch function;

    3. There are some running applications that slow down the system, please wait until the system is back to normal or close corresponding applications;

    4. The phone firmware or the screen itself is faulty, please download the firmware from the official website and update the phone.

  • What should I do if I cannot connect or pair with bluetooth?

    Please check the possible reason and trouble shooting steps below to solve your issue:

    1. The Bluetooth version in two devices are different, please check the version of Bluetooth or Bluetooth earphones of the other device. Where possible, pair your device with the one that has the same version of Bluetooth or Bluetooth earphones;

    2. The connection distance is over the limit, please use Bluetooth within a valid connection distance;

    3. The Bluetooth earphones are set as not discoverable to other devices, please set the Bluetooth devices as discoverable via [Settings];

    4. Phone firmware is faulty, please download the firmware from official website and update the phone.

  • What should I do if I am not able to take photos?

    Please update the firmware to the latest version.

  • What should I do if the screen flickers?

    Please check the possible reason and trouble shooting below to solve your issue:

    1. You enabled [Automatic brightness], please disable it;

    2. Applications installed are not compatible, please uninstall or update those incompatible applications;

    3. The phone suffers strong ambient electromagnetic interference, please keep the phone far away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

  • What should I do if the earphone is noisy, or there is no earphone input sign on the phone after inserting it?

    Please check the possible reason and trouble shooting steps below to solve your issue:

    1. Using earphones while the phone is charging may cause noises due to current interference, please try to avoid using earphones while the phone is charging;

    2. The earphone sound hole is blocked or polluted, please clean the earphones and make sure the earphone sound hole is open;

    3. The jack pin function definition of the earphones in use does not match the earphone socket standard of the phone, please use the original earphones or those earphones that comply with the phone socket standards;

    4. Phone firmware is faulty, please download the latest firmware from the official website and update the phone;

    5. Earphones are damaged or faulty, please try another pair of earphones to check if the fault remains. If not, that means the fault is caused by the earphones themselves, so replace them with some working earphones.

  • What should I do if I cannot hear anything when receiving an incoming call?

    Please check the possible reason and trouble shooting steps below to solve your issue:

    1. The phone is abnormal. It is in Earphone mode even the earphone is not inserted, please insert and unplug the earphones. If the phone is still in Earphone mode while the earphones are not inserted, bring the phone to a service center;

    2. Receiver  is blocked by dust or is covered by a protective film, please clean the earpiece, and avoid the earpiece being covered by a protective film;

    3. Phone firmware is faulty, please download the firmware from official website and update the phone.
